Co – Founder
At the beginning of F.F.Y, our team worked together to research and design a series of online lessons on personal finance for students across the country. I personally contributed 2 out of 10 lessons in the series. We taught 30 students through paid online sessions, and with the money raised along with activities such as selling used books and handmade items, we successfully raised 500 USD to support underprivileged girls in Tanzania. Additionally, we organized fundraising for two charity trips: one to an orphanage housing over 80 children, and another to a philanthropic class for more than 30 underprivileged kids, where we donated 1,000 books, 300 notebooks, and school supplies.
We also created financial content for our club of over 20 members, reaching 1,100 followers, and helped organize and lead workshops for 30+ middle and high school students to improve their financial literacy and money management skills.
Below are some photos of F.F.Y’s activities that you can check out to learn more about our journey.
