When did my love for mathematics begin? Perhaps it started with family tradition, as my father, mother, uncles, and sister were all once math students at prestigious specialized schools in Vietnam, such as Quoc Hoc Hue High School for the Gifted, Lam Sơn High School in Thanh Hóa, and Le Quy Don High School in Vung Tau.

But maybe my love for mathematics became clearer when I started attending Mathnasium, a Thinking Math program from the United States, when I was still very young. There, I not only learned math but also played math-related games.

Achievements In Mathematics

My commitment to mathematics aligns perfectly with the advice from my math coach, “If you can’t prove it, don’t use it.” I worked diligently to truly understand mathematical concepts rather than just memorizing formulas. As a result, throughout high school, I achieved several accomplishments, and those are truly cherished memories.

MAPP- Project on Applied Mathematics

With the desire to make Mathematics a relatable and accessible field, I, along with other math enthusiasts, decided to establish Toán Ứng Dụng MAPP (Math Appliqué), initially introducing Applied Mathematics to students in Ba Ria – Vung Tau province.
