MATHEMATICS
My love for mathematics began in elementary school, when I was first introduced to Olympiad problems. What started as simple curiosity quickly grew into a lasting passion: I was drawn to the elegance of numbers, the creativity required in problem solving, and the thrill of unlocking questions that once seemed impossible. I carried this passion into high school, where Olympiad math not only deepened my skills but also connected me with inspiring teachers and lifelong friends.
But along this journey, I inevitably began to ask myself: what can I do with mathematics? Looking beyond competition problems, I discovered a whole new world – one where formulas and equations transform into music, shape sports strategies, and power artificial intelligence. I came to realize that mathematics is not confined to textbooks, it permeates the patterns and decisions of everyday life.
As my journey in mathematics expanded, I founded MAPP to share with others the elegance of the subject and its surprising connections to music, art, and science. Beyond outreach, I have engaged in research and authored papers in both pure and applied mathematics, experiences that taught me to approach problems with rigor while always searching for real-world meaning.
