Introduction
Finance For You – F.F.Y is a financial education project established by students in February 2022 with the goal of providing basic financial knowledge to everyone, particularly students, throughout the country, allowing the youth to have a foundation and an overview of financial and budgetary issues in the future.
The project’s target audience is students, particularly those in secondary and high school who are interested in financial fields..
During my time working with FFY as the Head of the Content Department, I had the opportunity to engage in many exciting and meaningful activities with my team.
- We researched and prepared lessons on personal finance to deliver online to students across the country. Among these, I contributed two lessons in the series on personal finance.
- Create content for financial-related posts for a financial literary club of 20+ members, reaching 1100 followers; assisted in organizing and hosting workshops for 30+ Middle school and high school students to teach finance skills.
- Help raise $500 in funds to support girls from underprivileged backgrounds enduring exceptionally challenging circumstances in Tanzania.
- Help fundraise 2 charity trips to an orphanage of 80+ orphans and a philanthropic class for 30+ underprivileged kids: 1000 books, 300 notebooks, and stationeries
