S.MUN is a simulated conference modeled after the sessions of the United Nations. Participants take on the role of delegates representing UN member states, researching and debating their assigned countries’ stances on pressing issues while maintaining their nation’s official position.
The primary goal of each S.MUN session is to draft resolutions addressing critical global socio-economic challenges.
As part of the 2023.3 “Empowerment” Project—a program aimed at fostering the internationalization and global integration skills of Vietnamese students—the SCF Social and Community Fund is organizing S.MUN on its largest scale to date. With a focus on professionalism, sustainability, and excellence, the event is set to welcome 150 simulated delegations representing 150 countries for discussions on December 23, 2023.
The central theme of the program is “Green Prosperity”, around which the delegations will engage in dynamic and meaningful deliberations.
